About The Senior Adult Ministry...
Our goal at Parkwood Baptist Church for our Senior Adults is to help our Seniors realize that God can use us no matter how young or old we are. We look for ways that we can minister to all people through are senior group. The seniors are involved in different ministries through out the area of Concord & Cabarrus County. We have monthly fellowships. We have opportunities to go on retreats during the year that revive us both physically and spiritually.
Heartwarmers
The Senior Adult Ministry at Parkwood is a testimony that you can never retire from serving the Lord! Our senior disciples enjoy gathering together to study God's Word, minister and just have a great time!
We are called the “Heartwarmers because God has warmed our hearts with joy. The Bible says My servants will sing out of the joy of their hearts. Isaiah 6 5:14.
We seek to glorify God in all things as we worship, minister both in the church and in the community and as we fellowship with one another.

On Mission in the World
Our senior adults volunteer in our community through various organizations. They serve through our Association in Raceway ministry and the Baptist Sharing House. They serve at the Hospital and through Meals on Wheels. Some of our senior adults still go on mission trips across the US and around the world.
