Deaf Ministry Vision

Our vision and goal at Parkwood Baptist Church for the Deaf ministry is to be committed to spreading the Gospel of Christ to the deaf and hearing community. To develop leaders that are willing to become disciples for Christ. We want to see everyone accept Christ, and giving their lives to serving Him. We do not feel that our ability to communicate to the hearing is a barrier for us. Jesus did not only communicate His love, He also showed His love as we can do also. Our ACTIONS speak louder than words.

We use different ways in teaching and training and ministering at Parkwood:

· Total Deaf Worship service on every other Sunday, and an interpreted service each Sunday night. Twice a month we have a joint worship service with the hearing congregation.

· Bible Studies every Wednesday night for the Deaf

· After school program on Tuesday evenings for deaf children

· Ministries available for:

1. Senior Adults

2. Middle age groups

3. Youth

4. children
